About

Hello world, I’m Alannah.

I am a 24 year old rock climber from Vancouver, BC. I am a member of the Canadian National Team and compete on the World Cup circuit in all three disciplines of sport climbing (Bouldering, Lead, and Speed). I am the first female Canadian finalist in a World Cup event, and a six time Senior National Champion. My main goal is to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games in Sport Climbing.

I have climbed outside all over the world from South Africa to Switzerland, and last fall made the first female ascent of a route called Pulse in Cheakamus Canyon, Squamish, which was the first climb with the grade of 5.14 in Canada. I recently graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.A.Sc. of Mechanical Engineering specializing in Mechatronics.
